Albany Motorsports Park

Albany Motorsports Park is my favorite motocross track. About 35 minutes from my house, I have spent a lot of time at this track during the past 11 years since my son Aaron and I started racing there.

This is the current logo for HCT. I had big plans to do a big revision when I bought the place, but have had to settle for a slight rework due to time constraints.

We're Going Riding!

This is the first post in my blog to explore and discover the world of motorcycles and other forms of motorsports. My goal is to be the "Warren Miller" of motorcycles, and I think I may be in a unique position to do so. I have been riding and racing motorcycles my entire life (tought by my Dad) and have passed that knowledge onto a third generation with two of my kids riding and racing. In addition, I have been very successful in the software industry, and have been able to translate that success into ownership of a motorcycle shop, Herb's Cycle Town, as well as the resources and time to be able to be your correspondent in the field to test gear, rides, services, and all of the things you have always wanted to do with a motorcycle, but didn't know if it was worth it.

So, in search of My Perfect Ride, I'll give you reports and updates along the way. I'll risk it all, so you don't have to.
